The purpose of this course is to discuss strategies on how to establish or improve a bariatric practice. This course will focus on the necessary tools for both practice success and protection. It will discuss important and provocative topics including integrating and developing continuous quality improvement projects, maximizing practice protection from litigation and how to incorporate and leverage new technology and social media into practice. Experts will then debate the pros and cons of various practice models. This course is intended for attending surgeons, residents and medical students. Additionally it should be attended by integrated health members and all other persons involved in the care of bariatric patients.
